Onboard Your Device

To use your device on the school network there are some required steps to follow. These onboarding process below must be completed on the device being registered and will require your College credentials.

Onboarding involves registering the device with the College's Wi-Fi system and is done via your web browser.

How to onboard to College Wi-Fi

Connect a MacBook

On a MacBook, onboarding works best using Safari.

You can also use Google Chrome.


  1. Before you begin, make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi

    • You can use your home internet or a hotspot

    • If you're on campus you can connect to SSC-Register-2020

  2. Open your browser and go to: https://onboard.cloudpath.net/enroll/schols

  3. Agree to the Terms and Conditions by ticking the checkbox

  4. Enter your College credentials and follow the prompts.

  5. Choose the download option. When your download completes it should run automatically. If it doesn't, go to your Downloads folder and run it.

  6. If prompted, enter your local computer password

  7. Once you arrive at school, make sure you're connected to the Wi-Fi network called SSC-Secure

Connect a Windows computer

On a Windows computer, onboarding works best using Google Chrome.

It does not work properly using Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

When onboarding a windows computer off-campus you will only get one tick at the end of the installer. Don't worry, this is normal, it means that the College Wi-Fi is not in range.
